This cute, grey three year old gelding is out of our good mare "Holly" and is by Gilbert Reynold's War Black Ike. Julie has been riding him for a year and a half and he is the total package: good looking, smooth riding, cowy and really gentle and quiet. He had some smaller bunches of calves branded on him as a 2 year old and then has had hundreds of calves branded on him this fall (2012). He has done all aspects of work on the ranch including gathering, pairing out, sorting/working the gate, branding calves, loading trucks,etc. We have also been roping the heel-o-matic on him. This is a really nice three year old colt that is a real pleasure to have around and is always waiting at the gate for you. $6500.00

This big sorrel stud colt is by "Budha" and is out of "Molly" (Ikes Drifting Rose). "Molly" is a paternal grand daughter of First Down Dash, the all time AQHA racing sire (by Dash for Cash) She is a maternal grand daughter of White Lighting Ike. FROSTY LIL BUDHA
"Bill" is a July 21, 2009 gelding out of our mare, Ikes Drifting Rose or "Molly" (a grand daughter of First Down Dash) and is by Heza Lighting Ike (AQHA Top Ten World Show SR Heeling). He has the racing blood of First Down Dash (AQHA All Time Leading Race Horse Sire) and the rodeo bloodlines of White Lighting Ike. He should be able to run and rate, and he should make a really nice rope horse or barrel horse. He turned two on July 21st and he is 15 hands tall. He is just now really starting to fill out. We've put approximately 20 rides on "Bill". He has been ridden through swamps, creeks, sage brush, rocks and hills. He has been ridden around yearlings, cows and calves and has been used to load a truck load of heifers. He is willing, gentle, light in the mouth. He has a really nice, smooth lope and is surprsingly light footed for a 15 hand two year old colt. SOLD

This July 14, 2010 filly is out of Ikes Drifting Rose or "Molly" (see mare page) and is by War Black Ike (Gilbert Reynold's grey stud out of Blue Light Ike). Her dam is a paternal grand daughter of First Down Dash and a maternal grand daughter of White Lighting Ike. Her sire, War Black Ike, produced a seventh place finisher in the 2010 AQHA World Show in JR Heeling. This filly should be able to run and rate, and should make a really nice head horse or barrel horse. She is pretty to boot! She is halter broke, ties, leads, loads in the trailer, and has had her feet trimmed. SOLD

His dam is a very athletic, cowy mare that we used on the ranch for all jobs, and was one of the funnest horses that I have ever ridden to brand calves on. She is one of those horses that would slow down and take care of a beginner, yet give a more advanced rider all the quickness, cow and athleticism that you would want for any job. This is a cute yearling grey colt that is very athletic and should have tons of cow. He loves people and wants to always be in your pocket. His dam, "Holly" is a mare that we used extensively on the ranch and we still use her in the fall for people to brand calves on. She is very athletic, is gentle and has tons of cow. "Holly" is a paternal grand daughter of Mr San Peppy and goes back to Docs Hotrodder on the bottom side. We sold her 3 year old colt by War Black Ike last fall, and he had everything you want in a gelding: cow sense, athleticism, eye appeal, and he was very gentle and sensible. We branded a couple of smaller bunches of calves on him as a two year old and he acted like he had done it all of his life. This five year old mare is by "Budha" and is out of "Josie" or Colpeppers Amber. See the "Mares" page for more info. on "Josie". "Snapper" has been used extensively on the ranch to doctor calves and yearlings, gather, pair out, work the gate, and brand calves. At just five years old, she is already a solid all around ranch horse that is athletic and cowy. Not only is she great for all aspects of ranch work, she is a very solid heel horse and is well started in the heading. Todd won money at the ACTRA national finals heeling on her as a three year old (see video below). Riley and Todd used her in the Red Bluff Ranch Rodeo in 2013 and 2014 (see video). Todd headed on her this year at the ACTRA national finals in the mixed roping and in the 8.5 roping. Nothing seems to rattle this filly. SOLD!!

His dam is a very athletic, cowy mare that we used on the ranch for all jobs, and was one of the funnest horses that I have ever ridden to brand calves on. She is one of those horses that would slow down and take care of a beginner, yet give a more advanced rider all the quickness, cow and athleticism that you would want for any job. Faye was a great heel horse and all around ranch horse until being retired to the brood mare band due to a hock injury resulting from being kicked.
